NE State Capitol HVAC Replacement and Window Repair

The Nebraska State Capitol will soon receive a heating, air conditioning and renovation. During renovations, ceilings in the hallways will be raised and allow for more natural light to be let in. Many offices throughout the building will gain square footage with the removal of the perimeter duct work. Offices will receive new carpeting, paint and individual heating and air conditioning controls. Windows of the building will be repaired and restored. The Capitol has nearly 1,000 windows with 90 percent of those able to be opened. After renovations, the Capitol will have air conditioning and heating simultaneously at any time of the year, without first doing season changeovers of those systems.
