Core Area Roadway Streetscape Project

The redevelopment of the streetscape of West Haymarket surrounding Lincoln's new arena project became a major mixed-use development and revitalization effort for the City. Sampson Construction worked to transform the vacated rail yard into a new and improved downtown destination offering parking garages, hotels, lofts, rail yard and Lincoln Station

The project included a new network of sidewalks, pavers, trees, landscaping, silva cell and signage. In addition, new public spaces for outdoor exhibits and festivals were provided. The streetscape, designed by The Clark Enersen Partners, integrates with the surrounding architecture in the Historic Haymarket to continue the character and authenticity of the place. 

This project, located in Haymarket to the West, South and North of Canopy and "P" streets, works to create a major hub of downtown West Haymarket that will connect the amenities of the area together.
