Aspen Creek Middle School

This is the second Middle School for Gretna Public Schools. This new 155,000 SF school is spread among three levels, yielding four science rooms, a Family & Consumer Science room, a gymnasium and practice gym, weight room and four locker rooms. Additional features include a full kitchen, shop, a band room, drama area, stage, library, three computer labs, Special Education rooms and 34 regular classrooms. Outdoor athletic facilities and sitework feature a full-size track with stadium bleachers as well as a regulation size football field and practice field.

The building is structural precast with structural masonry and joist and deck. Nearly all of the exterior walls utilized structural precast, which allowed for a compressed erection time frame and reduced schedule, which allowed the project to be completed in the strict 18 month timeline.
