WNCC Main Building Addition and Renovation

Western Nebraska Community College received a 70,800 SF addition and renovation to the Main Building, which houses three distinct components. The theater area was transformed into a performing arts center, with a new entry and lobby, new seats and carpeting, sound and lighting system upgrades, as well as dedicated instrumental and vocal rooms, practice rooms, dressing rooms and storage. The theater also provides programming and socializing space for students and area residents. 

The Learning Commons modernizes the library, opening up the area to provide a more collaborative space, as well as individual and group study rooms equipped with technology. A dedicated IT help desk and the Math and Writing Centers are located in the Learning Commons, providing students the opportunity to study, learn and socialize in a comfortable, flexible setting. The student experience is further enhanced with the addition of a new bookstore and convenience store. 

The Student Success Center houses many offices and departments to include admissions, enrollment, financial aid, registrar, counseling and advising all in one centralized location to facilitate communication between departments as well as access by the student body.
