UNK New Fraternity and Sorority Housing

The University of Nebraska-Kearney is revitalizing their Fraternity and Sorority Life living options. The project replaces the current fraternity and sorority housing built in 1991. The addition of a new building and the renovation of an existing building, Martin Hall, will give students more up-to-date living options. The newly constructed building will allow for 165 beds and a total of 41,200 square feet and the renovation to Martin Hall will include 80 beds and 42,500 square feet just east of the Nebraska Student Union. There are assigned housing pods and flexible housing units designed and constructed to meet UNK’s future needs. Now complete, students will move in at the start of the 2023 semester.

Sampson leveraged subcontractor relationships and resources to ensure the University was presented with a high-quality residence hall experience for our students. The team successfully managed the site in one of our most compact locations on campus to ensure the safety of our faculty, staff, students, and visitors... I expect a lot from our contractors and demand high quality in the finished product. This project has been a success due to the diligent work of the entire project team and Sampson was a huge part of that success.
