Tungsten Parts Wyoming

Sampson Construction was awarded the Construction Manager contract by the City of Laramie and Laramie Chamber Business Alliance to construct a new 4,100 SF office and 14,000 SF manufacturing building for Tungsten Heavy Powder and Parts (THPP). Known as an international supplier of tungsten components for military, industrial engineering, aerospace, aviation and medical markets, THPP moved their manufacturing facility from China to Laramie, Wyoming.  

The manufacturing building is a pre-fabricated metal building system with conventional footings and foundation system. The office portion is a 4,100 SF two-story metal stud framed building with a window storefront unit. The building exterior features a standing seam metal roof system, EIFS with horizontal and vertical aesthetic reveals and insulated metal wall panels. Site work included excavation, grading, concrete sidewalks, a new asphalt parking lot, landscaping and irrigation. The facility opened for production in January of 2017.
