Scheels (Springfield, IL)

The Scheels retail outlet in Springfield, Illinois included the construction of a new 200,000 SF facility that houses sports, sportswear and footwear under one roof. Special attractions include eight lifelike bronze sculptures; a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium at the main entrance; a 65 foot, 16 car operating ferris wheel; a home decor and gift lodge, a shooting gallery; and sports simulators. 

Many spaces within this facility range from technical running gear to sportswear and spectacular hunting and fishing shops. This project also encloses a deli and fudge shop serving gourmet soups and sandwiches.
