Scheels (Sioux Falls, SD)

The Scheels in Sioux Falls, South Dakota now has the largest selection of sports, sportswear and footwear under one roof thanks to the newest expansion it received. 

In 1977, Scheels first opened its doors in Sioux Falls, expanded in 2002 and in 2014 completed a 100,000 SF addition, all while open to the public. The store is now a 200,000 SF collection of sporting goods, equipment. A 45 foot, 12 car operating ferris wheel, shooting gallery, simulators, a restaurant and fudge shop are unique features of this project. 

Other project components included the alteration of surrounding parking lots, drives and storm drainage. All building and site work was completed while the store remained open for business and was accomplished through extensive planning.
