Chadron State College Eagle Ridge Housing

Eagle Ridge Housing opened in the fall of 2014, providing a new housing opportunity for 69 Chadron State College students.

This 27,500 SF complex is located on the east side of campus and connects to the campus and parking lots with sidewalks that stretch west to the existing campus buildings. Eagle Ridge provides co-ed housing to upperclassmen and is comprised of three buildings with six pods each. Each pod consists of four private bedrooms, a kitchenette, bathroom and a common living area. A community lounge area, laundry facilities and open decks are featured in each building. The large open space around the housing units combined with the slope of the land creates an ideal environment for dry retention areas to capture and utilize snowmelt and rain runoff for new plantings. Eagle Ridge Housing replaces the twelve West Court Apartments on the western edge of campus.
