Scheels (Rapid City, SD)

Sampson Construction completed a 19,000 SF addition to the Rapid City Scheels to accommodate the growing store. The expanded store houses women’s, men’s, youth, specialty and sport and game shops. Special attractions include a laser shot hunting simulator, a five-sport simulator and an archery range.

This addition comes just a few years after Sampson completed a new 100,000 SF facility to replace the existing store in 2008. The store quickly became Western South Dakota’s largest selection of sports, sportswear and footwear under one roof.

The new expansion project will include adding a buck hunter arcade, bronze sculptures, a Starbucks Coffee bar & fudge shop.
