Fillmore County Hospital
In 2012, Fillmore County and the City of Geneva welcomed a new Critical Access Hospital (CAH) to the community. This facility replaced the former hospital, originally built in 1961.
The 58,000 SF hospital is a single-story structure with outside walls that will easily expand for future service needs. The construction consisted of precast panels that were utilized to enhance the project schedule during the winter months. Sitting on 17.5 acres, the hospital features a lighted helicopter pad, mission style design with dark wood finishes, 18-private and double occupancy patient rooms, two labor-delivery rooms, two operating rooms and one special procedure room.
In August 2015, Sampson Construction completed a 14,500 SF behavioral health addition.
