Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center

In 2012, Sampson Construction completed the new Beatrice Community Hospital. Our team then completed the 19,500 SF medical office building addition in 2016.

This two-story 150,000 SF facility includes four operating rooms and one shelled operating room; 25 patient rooms; two dedicated labor/delivery rooms; an infusion area; ten emergency department exam rooms; a drive-through ambulance garage; a kitchen, cafeteria and dining area; a pneumatic tube system; visitor elevators; new chillers/generators/air handlers/cooling towers; an entry drive; surface parking; a maintenance building; a faculty lounge; support space; an outpatient area; MRI space; IT/IS infrastructure; a therapy pool and inpatient rehab area. The new hospital includes an emergency entrance and emergency room, inpatient rooms, surgical suites, OB and delivery areas as well as inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services.

Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center is a licensed Critical Access Hospital that functions as a specialty facility for Beatrice and surrounding communities. This hospital is also centered on the Planetree Model of pioneered methods to provide a patient-centered, holistic approach to healthcare for patients and their families.
