University of Nebraska - Omaha Strauss Performing Arts Center

Our team has provided 17,000 SF in renovations and a 5,500 SF addition to the University of Omaha Strauss Performing Arts Center. The School of Music now has a new grand entrance on the west side of the building that efficiently accommodates an inviting point of entry for performances and other community events. All 27 practice rooms have received a remodel to increase soundproofing  and one classroom has been added along with the expansion of the existing computer lab from 13 to 30 stations. The project also included flattening the floor of a rehearsal room to increase the flexibility of the space and improve acoustics, A/V and lighting. Lastly, a smooth floor was installed on the first level of the building to ease the transportation of delicate musical instruments.
