Platte County Legacy Home

The Platte County Hospital Nursing Care and Assisted Living Facility is a single-story, 50,000 SF building. The building consists of wood framing with exterior brick and vertical siding. This facility caters to both nursing care and assisted living residents. The assisted living rooms have a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living room. There are 30 nursing care rooms and 16 assisted living rooms.

In addition to resident rooms, the facility features family rooms, two resident dining rooms, one private dining room, a hair salon, an activities room, a physical therapy area and gym. Two fenced off courtyards with a freestanding shade structure; three commercial kitchens; one residential kitchen; one commercial laundry room; one residential laundry room; a chapel; two nurse stations; three bathing spas; a generator large enough to power the entire building in the event of a loss of power; and multiple offices are also included in the facility.
