University of Nebraska - Lincoln Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior (CB3)

The UNL Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior is located within the new East Stadium expansion of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Memorial Stadium. The facility is located in the Southern half of the East Stadium on four different levels – the concourse, the second and third levels and the lower level mechanical room. Work was completed on all four levels. It is 27,500 SF of office and laboratory space, including a magnetically shielded MRI suite. The space that houses the MRI has copper walls for shielding purposes. A “chiller” was added to cool the magnet on the MRI. This facility will support the Center’s partnership with UNL Athletics to study the true effects of concussions as well as other sports-related conditions.
