University of Nebraska - Lincoln Voelte-Keegan Nanoscience Research Center
The Voelte-Keegan Nanoscience Research Center is nearly 31,000 SF that provides state-of-the-art laboratories, shared research facilities and administrative space in a central location on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. The building features a flexible, multi-use research space designed to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and provides a low-vibration, temperature-controlled, low-electromagnetic field environment as well as clean rooms necessary for world-class research and measurements.
The Center ties into the Jorgensen Physical Science building, which was completed in 2010. This project was designed and constructed to meet LEED Silver principles and features a basement lab finish out, first floor, second floor and a penthouse. Our team coordinated utility outages without any disruptions to occupants or student experiments and classes that were in progress.
