St. Mark's United Methodist Church New Sanctuary

Construction on the church began after St. Mark’s purchased an existing building to relocate their growing congregation. The first phase of construction included an addition and improvements to the site and parking to allow for church services and activities. The project included the addition of a family life center, a full size gymnasium (served as Sunday service sanctuary), restrooms, kitchen and multipurpose room. 

The second phase of construction involved building the new sanctuary. The original design had a seating capacity of 1,500 and the structure was designed to incorporate a future 500 seats in the balcony.  However, during construction it was decided to move forward with the extra balcony seating. Our team worked this decision into the schedule without affecting the overall progress of the project. The mechanical and electrical systems were also tied into the existing generator.
