Pacific Street Parking Garage

This garage is a 390,500 SF five-story cast-in-place structure with cast-in-place post-tension decks. The three stair towers are precast concrete independent structures. The garage was designed to hold 1,222 vehicles and three elevators. 

Located next to the garage is the parking services building, a 2600 SF precast structure designed for 26 parking administrative services personnel. This building included three office areas, an open workspace, a waiting area, restrooms, a meeting room, as well as mechanical and electrical rooms. 

The Pacific Street parking garage project was built into an existing hillside that had to be removed. A permanent shotcrete soil nail wall was put in place to stabilize the earth prior to the construction starting. The garage is long and narrow as the entire space was used as efficiently as possible to make the most of the space.
