Southern Hills Middle School

As part of the Boulder Valley School District RE-2 2014 Bond Program, Southern Hills Middle School received $7 million of various upgrades.  

On the exterior, new roofing was installed on 90% of the school, an overlay of asphalt was applied to the parking lot and certain areas received landscaping. Inside, the entire school received new paint and floor covering, new air conditioning units were placed in each classroom, updated student lockers were installed and an innovation space was provided for video conferencing and global teaching. The kitchen and cafeteria received finish upgrades as well as new equipment to include a dishwasher and warming cabinet.
