The beginning of construction was celebrated on Sunday as dirt was turned for the new Elkhorn North High School. The ceremony took place at 1 p.m. at the site of the new school. Sampson crew members, community members and the Elkhorn Public School Superintendent attended. Elkhorn North is anticipated to open Fall of 2020. This new school will ease overcrowding and provide additional extra-curricular opportunities for students.
