York General completed a facility master plan and launched the "A Better Future for Elder Care in our Community" campaign. The groundbreaking ceremony initiated a 24,400 SF renovation/expansion project, focused on enhancing elder offerings. This multi-phase long-term care project covers the Hearthstone and Willow Brook facilities.
Phase 1 includes the construction of 9 new private rooms, updated country kitchens, renovation of remaining resident rooms, corridors, and common areas, as well as a new activity space for memory support units. Phase 2 at Willowbrook will feature the addition of 16 assisted living apartments, 10 new independent living apartments, and new dining and recreation spaces for active elders.
