Sampson Construction team members were present to help move the first shovelfuls of dirt along with city officials and library employees. The facility will be 20,000 SF and sit on the block that was once occupied by Crete’s former hospital. Included in construction will be youth, adult and technology spaces, a separate community room that doubles as a storm shelter and a new park. Construction is anticipated to be completed Winter of 2019.
