Sunken Gardens

The Sunken Gardens is a communal garden that has been in use for 75 years, prior to this $1.7 million renovation. The renovation included multiple water features, new pathway entrances, and overall site layout.
The many upgrades to the Gardens offer the community new features and upgrades, such as: plaza entrance; pathways; multiple water features; and new terrace walls that were constructed of salvaged rubble stone. The plaza entrance has become iconic for Lincolnites and is often a sought-after place for weddings and special events. When visitors enter into the pavilion, they are greeted by the majestic copper dome, laser-cut with images of the changing seasons and in rememberance of the landmarks throughout the community.
