Lincoln Airport Authority

Lincoln Airport Authority

The Lincoln Airport Authority Rail project was completed in two phases and included offices, warehouse space, and product testing areas. Providing access to rail cars was necessary and also created unique challenges for the project team.
The initial 125,000 SF rail accessible warehouse / manufacturing shell space was constructed in 15 months. The warehouse accommodates manufacturing operations with an open area built-out for manufacturing production with a smaller allotment of space for an office area. The building also contains a 3,500 SF building that is affixed to the main building for product testing. Two years after the first phase of construction was completed, the 57,800 SF offices were built within. This project was built parallel to rail tracks and features rail car docks to allow for rail car accessibility.
