On February 26, 2012, a public ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of the new Fillmore County Hospital. The new 58,000 facility sits on 17.5 acres and features a lighted helicopter pad, mission style design with dark wood finishes, 18-private and double occupancy patient rooms, two labor delivery rooms, two operating rooms, and one special procedure room. Congratulations to Fillmore County and the Geneva community on the new hospital and “thank you” for allowing the Sampson team to be a part of this beautiful project!
