The Nebraska National Guard Readiness Center in Grand Island opened their doors in May after completion of their construction project. Sampson built the 92,051 SF building with classrooms, recruiting offices, a drill hall, and a high-tech briefing room. Construction began May 20 on York General Hospital to begin a multi-year addition and renovation on the west side of the building. Along with handling the construction project, Sampson will aid in preconstruction responsibilities to get ready for the construction activities. The Kearney Public School Board of Education approved hiring Sampson Construction as the on-site construction manager. Kearney Public Schools plans to build a new Kearney High School with a $68 million proposed budget. Work on Kelly Walsh High School in Natrona, Wyoming is moving along as scheduled to be completed in summer 2016. The High School being built by Sampson will be an $87 million facility with two stories and a basement featuring a 160-meter running track. Baldwin Filters expansion project for a new distribution center is about 25% complete.
