University of Nebraska Medical Center - Transplant Facility

The University of Nebraska Medical Center Transplant Facility was built in accordance to strict Clean Room Protocol. This facility features exhaust fans and air handlers to provide 100% clean-air intake.
The cGMP Transplant Production Facility is located on the southwest corner of 42nd and Emily Streets in a building that formerly housed the University Laundry. At just 22,000 SF this facility utilizes five air handlers and six exhaust fans to provide 100% clean-air intake to various levels of classified clean rooms. In order to ensure the safe processing of organs, tissues, and cells, this facility was constructed in strict accordance with Clean Room Protocol, which was developed and written by our team. Smooth room finishes and great attention to joint details provide easy to clean surfaces inside the lab rooms.
