Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary

Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary was built in three separate phases. The facility is a place of spiritual transformation that spanned over 10 years of planning and construction which resulted in designing and constructing a geothermal HVAC system.
The Fraternity of St. Peter operates two international seminaries. One in Wigratzbad, Germany and the other is Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary located in Denton, Nebraska. The seminary houses over 75 men studying for the priesthood. The 1st phase was completed in 1999 and included 65,000 SF of housing, scholastic areas, dining and kitchen area. Phase 2 was 15,000 SF of additional seminary completed in 2005. The 3rd phase completed in February 2010 consisted of a sanctuary, six private chapels, and a choir loft. The sanctuary followed the Romanesque design with many design elements from the French-gothic style.
