Nebraska Soccer and Tennis Complex

The Nebraska Soccer and Tennis Complex was completed prior to the 2015 soccer season. The soccer portion of the project was renamed Hibner Stadium and Barbara Hibner Field, and the tennis portion was renamed Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center.

Home to the UNL soccer and tennis teams, the facility is across Salt Creek from Nebraska Innovation Campus and serves a north gateway to the University of Nebraska city campus with access to the citywide bike trail network. Our team completed indoor tennis courts, outdoor tennis courts and a soccer grandstand. The 16,000 SF soccer grandstand includes a press box, concession and restroom facilities and seating for 2,500. The Tennis Center features indoor and outdoor collegiate tennis courts, spectator seating, locker rooms and public restrooms. A boardwalk divides the twelve lighted outdoor courts, providing access for fans to easily watch all court activities. A large outdoor viewing platform provides 1,105 seats. The indoor portion is 40,000 SF, consisting of 295 seats for spectators as well as six courts with a cushioned playing surface which will allow for fewer injuries to the athletes.
