Jorgensen Hall

Jorgensen Hall is a new physical science building on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. This facility is unique, in that it was designed to avoid vibration interference in order to successfully conduct the science research that occurs within.

Jorgensen Hall located on the University of Nebraska Lincoln City Campus is 125,000 SF and contains four different departments on three levels: Condensed Matter Physics (CMP); Atomic, Molecular, Optical and Plasma (AMO); High Energy Physics (HEP); and Astronomy, within a four-story structural steel replacement frame. The departments include lecture halls, teaching labs, student and instrument shops, physics classroom, conference rooms, offices for grad, post doc, and faculty.
