Fillmore County Hospital

Fillmore County and the City of Geneva welcomed a new Critical Access Hospital (CAH) to the community. This facility will replace their former hospital which was originally built in 1961.

The new 58,000 SF critical access hospital is a single-story structure allowing for outside walls that will be easy to expand for future service needs. The construction consisted of precast panels that were utilized to enhance the project schedule during the winter months. The new hospital sits on 17.5 acres and features a lighted helicopter pad, mission style design with dark wood finishes, 18-private and double occupancy patient rooms, two labor delivery rooms, two operating rooms, and one special procedure room.
