19th & Vine Parking Garage

19th and Vine Parking Garage has been designed to meet internationally recognized green building standards and is one of the first parking structures to meet Green Standards in Lincoln.

After incorporating environmentally friendly construction elements into other structures on-campus, UNL Parking and Transit Services decided to follow this pattern for the 19th and Vine Parking Garage. The 1,040-stall garage is used primarily by University of Nebraska-Lincoln students and has achieved LEED Silver certification. For energy savings, the parking structure uses a geothermal system to heat and cool the stairwell and passenger waiting area and LED lighting. It includes a geothermal system and a solar powered ventilator.
